The Grand Bleu (1988) 碧海藍天 -- 想像即是真實

我跟很多人一樣很喜歡Jacques對Johanna說的一段關於人魚的故事。
是一種對大海的嚮往，也是一種對無形或是形而上的美的一種追求。

" You go down to the bottom of the sea,
   where the water isn't even blue anymore,
   where the sky is only a memory,
   and you float there, in the silence.
   And you stay there, and you decide, that you'll die for them.
   Only then do they start coming out.
   They come, and they greet you,
   and they judge the love you have for them.
   If it's sincere, if it's pure, they'll be with you,
   and take you away forever. "

大海最後就把Jacques帶走了，如Enzo所說的，他並不是一般人，他彷彿是來自於海洋也注定要回到海裡去，對Jacques來說Johanna似乎只是魚，他們的愛情只是一個短暫的交會，而不是屬於一種對永恆的渴求與追尋，所以Jacques還是走了，電影中這種超現實的手法使用地非常順暢或許我們會有一些懷疑到底我們看到的是想像還是真實。

想像即是真實。

盧貝松早期的電影的確是充滿了感動與藝術層次，碧海藍天是很上乘的藝術作品，很難接受盧貝松後來也成為了拍計程車和外星人的專家，或許現實的環境並不允許他有太多對海洋的夢。

看完突然覺得好想游泳。
